The Washington, DC SMPS Chapter is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization whose purpose is to promote the professional and educational advancement of people who market, sell, and manage professional services for the built and natural environments. The SMPS-DC chapter, now celebrating 20 years, is the 4th largest chapter in the SMPS family.

Event Sponsorship Opportunities
We are offering an opportunity to sponsor individual chapter events at $250 per event.
Event sponsors can display brochures and distribute handouts about their firm. In addition,
one free registration to one chapter program during the 2007-2008 program year.
Choose to be a sponsor of any of the following planned chapter events:
Principals’ Roundtables. Occurring three times this year, this is an open forum, idea
exchange program reserved exclusively for Principals, Senior Managers, and Industry
Representatives.
Professional Development. The Marketing Fundamentals series will be geared
toward building entry to mid-level marketers' skills. The second track, Advanced
Marketing Fundamentals, to be held throughout the Spring, will be geared towards
Senior-Level Marketing and Business Development professionals and will focus on
the Six Domains of Practice as defined by the SMPS National Chapter.
Lunch Programs - Hot Topics. These market sector based client panels address
marketing and business development issues and trends for the A/E/C community.
Sponsors will be given a 30-minute “face-to-face” meeting with speakers prior to the
luncheon.
Special Events. Throughout the year we will be hosting special networking events.
Membership - Member Orientation/Outreach. This year, our membership committee
will hold two special events geared specifically towards new chapter members or for
those who simply want to know more about the benefits of membership.
